Mark Wiens

Mark Wiens is a American YouTuber who lives in Thailand and founded the blog and YouTube channel Migrationology. Migrationology is a hybrid food-travel channel, accompanied by a blog.
As of May 2017, the channel had over 803,000 subscribers.
Early life
Wiens was born in Phoenix, Arizona, but attended his first school in Albertville, France. His parents were Christian missionaries.
He was later home-schooled in the Democratic Republic of Congo for three years, and then attended the Rosslyn Academy in Nairobi, Kenya, for eight more years.
Wiens returned to the United States to attend Arizona State University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Global Studies in 2008. The same year, he attained a foreign English-teaching certificate while traveling through South America. as well as many parody reaction videos on YouTube. There is a popular Facebook meme page devoted to him, which has over 2500 likes at the time of writing.
Personal life
In Thailand Wiens met Ying, whom he would later marry. They have one son, Micah, born in November 2016.
Wiens' mother, grandmother and sister, as well as many members of Ying's family, have been featured in his videos.
Many of Wiens' close friends have appeared in his videos as well, including perhaps most notably Dwight Turner, of the YouTube Channel BKK Fatty.
Wiens is a devoted Christian. He has also featured charities in some of his videos.
