Mark McCloskey is an American personal injury lawyer, and a Republican candidate in the 2022 United States Senate election in Missouri. He and his wife Patricia gained fame during the St. Louis gun-toting controversy in June 2020, when the two pointed guns from their front lawn at trespassing Black Lives Matter protestors. Two months later the couple spoke via a prerecorded message on the first night of the 2020 Republican National Convention. During the speech Mark noted that the two had been charged with a felony and said, "it seems as if Democrats no longer view the government's job as protecting honest citizens from criminals, but rather protecting criminals from honest citizens."
