Mark Holcombe

Mark Holcombe is a philosophy professor from the University of Alabama, Birmingham (UAB) located in Birmingham, Alabama. He holds a BA in Psychology and Philosophy from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC., an MA in Philosophy from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA., and an MA in Education from University of Alabama, Birmingham.
Research and authorship
Holcombe taught Philosophy at University of Alabama, Birmingham for a period of 10 years, including Introduction to Philosophy, Contemporary Moral Issues, and Logic. During which time, he also worked as a Research Assistant at the University's Center for Ethics and Values in the Sciences and wrote two papers for the Office of Research Integrity (a division of DHHS) on the consequences of research misconduct and the efficacy of RCR training programs.
