Marit Jessen Rüdiger (born 18 June 1982 in Sønderborg) is a Danish pharmacist and politician, who was the leader of Schleswig Party from 2010 to 2012. She was a member of the municipal council of Tønder Municipality from 2013 to 2017. Political career Rüdiger became the leader of Schleswig Party in 2010, taking over after Gerhard Mammen and becoming the first woman to lead the party. She was elected into the municipal council of Tønder Municipality at the 2013 Danish local elections. In October 2017 she announced that she would not seek reelection in the 2017 elections.
