Marinello Schools of Beauty also known as "Marinello" is a for-profit beauty school and barber school with over 35 locations in California, Nevada, and Utah. The schools are operated by B&H Education, Inc. in Beverly Hills, CA. The schools offer training in Cosmetology, Esthetics (Skin Care), Barbering, Advanced Facial & Body Treatments, Manicuring, Massage Therapy & Teacher Training. In 2004, Marinello was acquired by B&H Education, Inc. The school's history can be traced back from 1905 when Mrs. Ruth Maurer cooked up a batch of face cream in a double boiler over a gas jet in the basement of her red brick home. The schools were later named after Giovanni Marinello, the founder of Modern Cosmetology. All of Marinello's programs are accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS), which is recognized by the United States Department of Education. This allows Marinello to provide financial aid to their students.
