Marcelo Henrique Almeida is a Brazilian researcher, writer, producer and entrepreneur born in March 2, 1982 in São Paulo. He is an alumnus of Centro Universitário das Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (Academic Center of Metropolitan United Colleges), and the author of nearly a hundred research articles. Marcelo Henrique Almeida is specializes in law related articles. He is also the owner of World Wide Publishing International, which is spreading, publishing, and promoting quasi-free digital knowledge as well as in e-books and blogs. One of his publications is the "Universal Theory" which is expected to be released in few months on Kindle, "An Antheist God", "A Theory About Destiny" and "The Fat Trap". Works Almeida, a specialist in law, founded the Law Studies database (Caderno de Direito in Brazilian Portuguese) aiming to furnish law articles, texts, doctrines, and structural analysis for free so as to facilitate the access to this material which is too expensive to be widely distributed. But his most known work is not related to law or education, it´s related to system theory, a interdisciplinary field that includes philosophy and science focused on the relationship between elements of a system. Criticism Most of system theories at the time were focused on the system as something for being measured and observed from the outside. Marcelo´s theory was an attempt to observe the system from the "element´s point of view" to extract new rules and behaviors. Most critics argued that most phenomenons can be observed from the outside as the inside, so the vantage point was not important. Also there´s no equations or computer simulations to sustain his claims. Almeida answered that the point of view is essential to everything and not just systems and that you don´t need a computer simulation to prove any of the rules. Marcelo also faced criticism for saying that from system´s theory point of view, the Law Of Attraction could be explained but it was "not even remotely close" to what´s being said on movies or books. Bibliography The books of Marcelo Henrique Almeida merge science, philosophy, spirituality, and a little humor to explain life's problematics. * "Universal Theory" : The name of the book comes from the perspective on which the system is not as something external that can be measured and observed, but from the the universe that the element belongs to. * "An Atheist God" : The author uses system theory make philosophical and spiritual analysis across religions and argues that science and religion are two sides of the same coin and that religious teaching and system theory are deeply related. * "A Theory About Destiny" : The author uses the system theory to make a philosophical analysis about destiny, building a theory and setting rules that shed some light on destiny´s unpredictable behavior and things like predestination, choice, free will and even the diffence between success and failure. * "The Fat Trap" : The author explains why people are gaining weight, how to control it or not believing that the problem is what they eat and their addiction to it and that putting the blame on exercises and calories is just a diversion to hide the real problem.
