Manoj Sadasivan

Manoj Sadasivan is an economist, business thinker, peacemaker and philosopher. He has made seminal contributions to economics and business thinking. In peacemaking, he has survived at least 500 murder attempts by about 100 terrorists between 1976-2005. He is a believer in God and the essential oneness of God's creations.
Early Life
Manoj Sadasivan was born in Penang, Malaysia, at 4:55 PM on April 26, 1972, to Indian immigrant parents. He came to India in 1976 after the death of his father and did his schooling in the south Indian state of Kerala. After high school he took bachelors and masters degrees in Commerce with first ranks from the University of Kerala. Then he underwent chartered accountancy training for three years and afterwards enrolled as a research fellow in Commerce with the University of Kerala. In 2000, he cleared the Civil Services Examination for entry into the elite Indian government services, but was not appointed for failing to meet the prescribed physical fitness standards. In 2004, he obtained an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and then commenced a stream of research into the knowledge era and its economic fundamentals.
Seminal Papers
In June 2005, he wrote two seminal papers titled ‘The Key to Wealth Creation’ and ‘The Rise of Banking’. ‘The Rise of Banking’ argues that Banking is the trendsetting industry of the knowledge era and ‘The Key to Wealth Creation’ provides the key to the secrets of wealth creation in the knowledge era. In 2005, he also started practicing meditation to seek to eliminate the ego and its attachments and find stillness and calm in everyday life. In 2008, after meditating for 3 years, he gained deep spiritual insights that blessed him with an enlightened state of mind. As a result of enlightenment, he adopted the philosophy that the world is an illusion and that the only reality is the same divine essence that dwells within God's creations. He also decided to enjoy the rest of his sojourn on Earth by maintaining a calm and centered state of mind through meditation.
Religion
He was born on Prophet Muhammad's birthday. Since his parents were Hindus, officially he is a Hindu by birth. But his mother is now a Christian believer. And he has read a lot of Buddhist literature.
