Mangria is a bottled alcoholic beverage that is similar to sangria and was created by Adam Carolla. It was first referenced by Carolla on his podcast, , as a personalized mixture of red wine and vodka that he made when he did not have enough red wine to drink. He eventually created a commercial version that is a mixture of red wine and grape vodka along with plum, cherry, blackberry, orange and citrus flavors. It is 20.9% alcohol.
Regarding Mangria's creation, Carolla stated: "As a nightly consumer of red wine, I was shocked one evening to find I had just half a glass left in the bottle. So I did what any decent alcoholic, ex-con, American would do-I went to the fridge, I went to the liquor cabinet, I poured, mixed and measured. Thus Mangria was born."
