Manchester School of Excellence

The Manchester School of Excellence is a program led by Director of Venture Point Manchester, Ben Turney.
The program is designed to take 20+ of the most intellegent 16 year old students from some of the most popular secondary schools in Manchester, England and introduce them to the world of business and enterprise through a series of seminars and work experience with some of the top employers in the country.

Stdents won admission onto the scheme via assessment of academic merit and achievement. The 21 young people from this year have gone on to achieve some of the best GCSE results out of all of the students in the City of Manchester.

The employers for the work placements this year were among the best in the country and most were voted for in the '100 best comapnies to work for 2008' .
