Manabiya

is a Japanese manga created by Akira Kojima. It is currently ongoing and is serialized in the new magazine Gangan Joker published by Square-Enix. The manga illustrates the life of Takeru Makishima who has just graduated from middle school. Upon his graduation he learns that his father has just remarried. As a result, Takeru (who has grown up doing housework) is no longer needed for chores and is encouraged to pursue his hobbies and adventures. The manga is currently available in Japanese only.
Plot
Manabiya is the story about the lives of Takeru Makishima and Shirayuki Euphorbia Marginata. After graduating from middle school and learning of his father's remarriage, Takeru discovers that his usual life of housework is no longer needed. As a result, Takeru is told to explore the world and find his own hobbies. Because Takeru spent most of his life cleaning and tending to the garden in his house, he has no other hobbies than taking photos with his cell phone. During the opening ceremony of his high school, Takeru finds some beautiful cherry blossoms. While he is attempting to take a picture he is caught off-guard by a beautiful girl who eventually turns out to be Shirayuki and accidentally clicks the shutter button. Throughout the day Takeru keeps running into Shirayuki until she questions if he is a stalker.
In hopes of finding a hobby Takeru joins the photography club where he meets new members.
