María del Carmen Redondo Sanz (born 23 June, 1976 in Madrid), mostly known as Mamen Sanz, is a Spanish model, wife of Raúl, captain of Real Madrid and the Spanish national team. She married on 1 July 1999 and have 4 young sons: Jorge (25 February 2000), Hugo (20 November 2002) and twins Héctor and Mateo (17 November, 2005). Mamen has many famous friends in Spain, one of them being also a beautiful model married to a footballer: Helen Svedin, wife of Luís Figo, who is a great friend on and off the pitch with Raúl. Raúl dedicates every goal he scores to his wife by kissing his wedding ring each time he finds the back of the net. |
