Majuba Aviation crash

The Majuba Aviation crash was the crash of a Pilatus PC-12 operated by Majuba Aviation that crashed on Tuesday, 8 February 2011 off of Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. The flight was a domestic flight from Queenstown, Eastern Cape to Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape. The crew was struggling with heavy fog and very poor visibility at the time of the crash. The plane aborted its first landing approach, as the crew were unable to see the runway. While attempting a go-around the plane stalled due to insufficient airspeed and crashed in the sea at 16:40 Hrs. local time. The aircraft's wreckage was found at 06:00 Hrs. the following morning.
Aboard the plane was among others the chief executive officer of building materials company Italtile, Gianpaolo Ravazzotti. The other passengers were his colleagues and other business partners from other companies. Majuba Aviation's chief pilot was also killed in the crash.
As of April 2011 the crash was still under investigation.
