Major gods

There are many different Major gods in different religions:
Europe
Greek mythology
They were the principal deities of the Greek pantheon, the Twelve Olympians residing atop a mythical Mount Olympus. The Olympians gained their supremacy in a war of gods in which Zeus led his siblings to victory over the Titans. There was some variation as to which deities were included, but the canonical fourteen as commonly portrayed in art and poetry.
* Zeus, god of the sky, thunder and lightning and law, order and justice.
* Hera, goddess of marriage, women and birth.
* Poseidon, god of the sea, earthquakes, and horses.
* Demeter, goddess of the harvest.
* Athena, goddess of wisdom, warfare, divine intelligence, architecture and crafts.
* Dionysus, god of wine, theatre and ecstasy.
* Apollo, god of music, poetry, plague, oracles, sun, medicine, light and knowledge.
* Artemis, god of the hunt, forests and hills, the moon.
* Ares, god of war.
* Aphrodite, goddess of love, beauty and sexuality.
* Hephaestus, god of fire, metalworking, stone masonry, and the art of sculpture.
* Hermes, god of commerce, thieves, travelers, sports, athletes, and border crossings, fish, guide to the Underworld.
* Hestia, goddess of hearth, home, family,domesticity.
* Hades, god of the underworld,the dead, riches, wealth.
Americas
Aztec mythology
They were the principal male deities of the Aztec pantheon, the Creator-Gods and others are residing atop a mythical heaven Ilhuicatl-Teteocan and in earth's city of Teotihuacan. Each of the four Creator-Gods takes a turn as Sun, these suns are the sun of earth, the sun of air, the sun of fire, the sun of water (Tlaloc, rain god replaces Xipe-Totec).
* Tezcatlipoca, god of providence, matter and the invisible, ruler of the night, Great Bear, impalpable, ubiquity and the twilight, the lord of the North.
* Xipe-Totec, god of force, patron of war, agriculture, vegetation, diseases, seaons, rebirth, hunting, trades and spring, the lord of the East.
* Quetzalcoatl, god of wisdom, life, knowledge, morning star, fertility, patron of the winds and the light, the lord of the West.
* Huitzilopochtli, god of will, patron of war, fire and sun, the lord of the South.
* Tlaloc, god of the thunder, rain and earthquakes.
