Maine VegFest

Maine VegFest is an annual vegetarian food festival held in Portland, Maine and hosted by the nonprofit Maine Animal Coalition. History The festival was first held in 2005 and was originally called the Maine Vegetarian Food Festival. The event features all vegan food. Between 2009 and 2018, the event was held at the East End Community School. In 2019, the festival moved to the Italian Heritage Center. Past keynote speakers have included Gene Baur, Chirs McClay, Colin McCollough, Lauren Ornelas, Victoria Mora<nowiki/>n, Toni Fiore, Avery Yale Kamila, Alex Shopov, Dan Argo, and Meg Wolff. |
