Main St - Hamner Ave - Milliken Ave

Main St - Hamner Ave - Milliken Ave is a major north-south arterial road in the Inland Empire region of Southern California that runs between its terminus in the foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains in South Corona, CA on the south and Wilson Ave in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains in Rancho Cucamonga, CA to the north. Running nearly parallel with Interstate 15 through five cities, it's often driven as an alternative/local route during periods of heavy freeway traffic. Main St - Hamner Ave - Milliken Ave is the only street directly connecting the San Gabriel Mountains with the Santa Ana Mountains.
Main St
The Main Street section of "Main St - Hamner Ave - Milliken Ave" is located completely within the city limits of Corona, CA. Running north-south through the center of the city, Main Street divides Corona into its East and West sides. The street itself is split into North Main Street and South Main Street by the 91 Freeway. North Main Street becomes Hamner Ave at the border of Corona and Norco.
Downtown/North Main: Most of the City's downtown area lies north of State Route 91, and is home to the new Corona Community Center. The area has office and apartment buildings. The new North Main Street renovation project added multiple new retail shops, bars, and restaurants to the area. Downtown is also the location of the Corona - North Main Metrolink station, which is one of two Metrolink stations connecting Corona with the rest of the Southland.
South Main Street Palms Historic District, a section of the street in Central Corona lined with different species of palms and historic houses, extends from Olive St to Chase Dr.
Hamner Ave
Hamner Ave stretches from the southern border of Norco, CA through the northeast of Eastvale, CA until Bellegrave Ave where it then becomes the border between Eastvale in Riverside County and Ontario, CA in San Bernardino County; running through both cities and both counties. Hamner Ave becomes Milliken Ave at its intersection with
Riverside Dr (Eastvale)/East Riverside Dr (Ontario).
The Hamner Ave Bridge, constructed in 1939, spans the Santa Ana river near Norco's northern border with Eastvale. Construction is scheduled from January 2021 through January 2023.
Milliken Ave
Milliken Ave runs north from the intersection of Riverside Dr (Eastvale)/East Riverside Dr (Ontario), through the northeast section of Ontario, to its northern terminus at Wilson Ave in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains in northern Rancho Cucamonga.
The main/western entrance to Ontario Mills - the largest single-story shopping mall on the West Coast and the largest mall in San Bernardino county - is located at the intersection of N Milliken Ave and Concours St in the city of Ontario. In addition, access to Ontario International Airport is located just two blocks south of this entrance via the intersection at S Milliken Ave and E Airport Dr.
