Main Street is a major arterial route in Orange County, California running 15.6 miles (25.1 km) through the cities of Irvine, Santa Ana and Orange. Route description Main Street starts from West Yale Loop in the suburban area, Woodbridge in Irvine. From Culver Drive to Park Plaza, the route travels through the neighborhood, Westpark. From Jamboree Road to the California State Route 55 (SR 55), Main Street travels through Irvine Business Complex and nearby John Wayne Airport. At Sunflower Avenue in Santa Ana, Main Street becomes South Main Street and ends up on 1st Street and then becomes North Main Street to the Interstate 5 (I-5). At La Veta Avenue in Orange, North Main Street changes back to Main Street and through Orange and after Taft Avenue, Main Streets ends on Grove Avenue.
