Mahesh dilemma

Mahesh dilemma is one of the most important choices human mankind/life have to make some time in future. It states:
If sometime in future we humans have to choose between life and intelligence, which should we choose?
Option - Intelligence
The intelligence we have accumulated or arrived at is the sum of billions of years of evolution. If all the thoughts, wisdom a human mind has is passed to a new body, the human is equivalent to being alive. In this way some parts of our ancestors are alive in us. Be it called DNA, culture, habits etc. If we are able to transmit/preserve all the connections of our mind, we are alive till they are there. And that makes intelligence.
We humans are mother of intelligence that evolved through us. It is also the responsibility of children(intelligence) to take care of there mother(humans/life) weather the mother is useful/purposeful/further contributor or not.
Thus we humans need to choose intelligence and expect/guide/built/give moral sense to intelligence to take care of humans and life in general and we should let intelligence evolve beyond the comprehension, limits and hold of humans or life.
Option - Life
In process of non-life evolution of intelligence it may also get extinct due to any of the reasons, thus the life must be saved so that we can easily start the process again.
