Macedonophobia

Anti-Macedonism, also known as Macedonophobia, is a form or racism and it reffers to hatred towards Macedonians, Macedonian culture and the fact that Macedonians say that they are the descendants of the Ancient Macedonians.

Greece
In Greece there is a lot of Anti-Macedonism. Greece blames Macedonians for "stealing" it's history, also doesen' t recognize the name of the Republic of Macedonia and the nationality of the Macedonians. In Greece for the Republic of Macedonia is said FYROM ( former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia ) and for the Macedonians they say Skopians.

Bulgaria
Bulgaria recognizes the name of the Republic of Macedonia but doesen' t recognize the nationality of the Macedonians, it says that Macedonians are Bulgarians.
Albania and Kosovo
Macedonians and Albanians had a war in 2001 because ethnic Albanians in Macedonia wanted more rights, today Macedonians and Albanians live in peace. Albanians say that Alexander the Great had Macedonian but also Albanian heritage (Macedonians don' t agree).

France
French president Nicolas Sarkozy has "made" France an Anti-Macedonian country. France also for the Republic of Macedonia says FYROM. The Macedonians in France are now called Slavomacedonians wich makes a conflict beetween the two countries. Macedonians that have French heritage and French people who have Macedonian heritage demand peace beetween the two countries.
