Mama Machan (Also known as Mama Machan : Ithu Tamil Padaim, English : Brothers in Law, This is Tamil Movie!) is a 2017 Tamil comedy movie from Malaysia. The film is written and directed by RMS Sara, who also stars in the film in the main role, together with BenG. The film also consist of ensemble cast like Nithya Shree, Logan and P.Jegan. The story is about two sneaky guys who call themselves Maama Machan.
Mama Machan was released nationwide in 23 local theaters on August 3, 2017 with a mixed review. The film managed to gross MYR 44,651 as its lifetime collection.
Synopsis
Kasi and Guru are close buddies in which they are involved Stealing bikes activities. In one particular occasion, they decided to sell a bike to Rao-a leader for a stolen bikes syndicate in which during a negation an argument occurred in which they are not satisfied with the deal. This led to Micheal, a right-hand man for Rao entering into the picture to outburst the argument. But Rao decided to stick to the deal with Kasi and Guru demanded to avoid any further arguments by sealing off the deal. But this leads to Michael's dissatisfaction and set revenge to Kasi and Guru.
Soundtrack
The film's soundtrack is scored by RMS Sara. Meanwhile, the background sound is composed by Mansher Singh. The lyrics to the songs are written by Santhana. The film has 2 songs with an OST Titled Maama Machan Title Track. The song Yenguthey, sung by Sri Shaila became a big hit.
