Lutfar Rahman (muslim scholar)

Muhammad Lutfar Rahman (2 February 1940 - 3 March 2024) He died on 3 March 2024 at Ibn Sina Hospital in Dhaka. He used to make Muslims aware of various contemporary issues in waz mahfils in Bangladesh and different countries of the world. Lutfar Rahman's father Maulana Abdus Samad was a scholar and philanthropist by profession and his mother Marhuma Begum Maksuda Khatun was a housewife.
Education life
Lutfar Rahman's father Abdus Samad was a very old scholar. He started islamic education at the hands of his father. He also passed Dakhil from Kalaiya Rabbania Fazil Madrasah in 1961, Alim from Raipur Aliya Madrasah in 1963, Fazil in 1965 and Kamil in 1967 with merit.
Career
Lutfar Rahman served as Principal of Rajkhali Aliya Madrasah with great reputation during his career. He started the religious discussion by assuming the duties of the imam of the Central Jame Masjid of Imamganj (Nagerhat). Always devoted himself to the progress of social development as well as career. On his own initiative, he established numerous mosques, madrasahs, orphanages, islamic libraries in the country and abroad. Lutfar Rahman is widely known at home and abroad as a renowned speaker.

Death
Lutfar Rahman died on 3 March 2024 at Ibn Sina Hospital in Dhaka.
Various political parties and social organizations of the country have mourned his death.<ref name="death and place"/>
