Lugnutz

Lugnutz is the name of a fictional character in the Transformers: Cybertron series.
Transformers: Cybertron
A loner, a renegade and a rebel. He speaks and acts in a manner similar to the stereotypical hippie character and has little interest in actual combat. His only true friend is his assault rifle, "Dutch". He much prefers cruising the dusty back roads of Earth, doing crimes and terrorizing the populace to running missions for Megatron, but if it means a chance to blow something up he's willing to swallow his pride and take a job. A powerful dual-stroke engine and specialized exhaust filters allow him to generate enough engine noise to overwhelm Autobot audio receptors and shatter reinforced glass in a 100 foot radius.
Animated series
Lugnutz first appeared in episode 27 "Critical". He was among the monster Earth-based Decepticons to be imprisoned by the Autobot Crosswise. He was released by Starscream and therefore accepted his rule, although it would not last too long. He made a cameo in Family where, after watching Mudflap driving along and wallowing in self-pity over his decision to join the Decepticons, he sympathises with Mudflap briefly before staring into space and wondering vaguely what happened to Starscream after he was first defeated by the Autobots in United. He later led Starscream's force back to Cybertron to help the Autobots defeat Galvatron and seal the black hole.

:The bonus bio note available on Hasbro's website (accessible with the code printed on the toy's Planet Key accessory) likens the character to a Hunter S. Thompson - type rebel and loner.
:In 2006 a special edition of Lugnutz was available in Walmart stores which contained a DVD with the episode "Cybertron" as a promotional item - despite the fact that he wasn't in that episode.
:In 2007 this toy was repackaged as a Transformers: Universe figure and sold in discount stores like Family Dollar.
:In 2006 Lugnutz was recolored red as an Autobot called Hightail.
