Lucrezia Lerro

Lucrezia Lerro is an Italian poet and author, born 1977 in the province of Salerno. In 2006, she was a finalist for the Strega Prize (Premio Strega) with the book Certi giorni sono felice (Pequod, 2005). In the same year with the same book she won the first prize at the Kriterion Prize. In 2007 she was a finalist for the Rapallo Prize with the book Il rimedio perfetto (Bompiani).
She has worked for magazines such as TV Sorrisi e canzoni, Per me and Ragazza Moderna. Moreover she has been assistant to the Italian psychologist Maria Rita Parsi and has worked for the Centro sperimentale di cinematografia.
