Lucas Bean

Lucas Bean is an American entrepreneur, marketing executive, and founder of the Silicon Beach Young Professionals and Disrupt LA.
Early life and education
Lucas Bean grew up in Mystic, Connecticut and attended University of Massachusetts, Amherst. As a student, he won numerous academic, athletics, and entrepreneurship awards. He graduated with a BBA in Marketing. Subsequently, Bean attended Quinnipiac University obtaining both an MBA and MS in Computer Science.  
Career
After graduating, Bean worked at Sennheiser, MySpace, and Sony Pictures Entertainment in various senior executive marketing positions. In 2010, he was appointed to Atari as the Senior Director of Online Marketing launching Atari’s Greatest Hits during his tenure.
In 2012, Bean founded Silicon Beach Young Professionals, a tech and entrepreneurship startup based in LA. Silicon Beach Young Professionals ran monthly events frequented by founders of Snapchat, Uber, Tesla, WeWork, and Google. He also founded Disrupt LA, a startup incubator for the tech industry.
Bean is a professional speaker and presents on the topics of marketing strategy, tech entrepreneurship, and business development. He has been a Guest Lecturer at Pepperdine University since 2012.
