Lorin roser

Lorin Roser is a multimedia artist, painter, composer and animator whose work has been described as " having an almost mythic presence." Roser, a multimedia artist fascinated with the expression of mathematics, utilizes algorithms in his musical compositions and physical simulations in his 3D animations.
Roser's recent music is created with realtime manipulation of polynomials, which he began working on in the 1980s. In partnership with artist and wife Nina Kuo, Roser has created a 3D animated video and painting series called Mythical Montage, a "unique interplay...evoking new cyber forms that are montage into an abstracted mental world. In a rare travelogue of experiences, Roser says that Kuo's paintings are inspiration for his 3-D Animated Videos and vice versa."
A sought after musician, Roser has performed at CBGB's, the Emily Harvey Foundation, the White Box Gallery with Elliott Sharp, events for curator/performance artist Arleen Schloss and composed music for Verneta Nemec's performance art works.
He is the son of painter Ce Roser and studied architecture at Princeton University and UCLA.
