Review Scale
As of January 1, 2008, Loot Ninja began using a 10 point review scale, instead of their previous 5 point scale. The change was made to allow more flexibility in scoring games.
This is the breakdown of the Loot Ninja Scoring Rubric for gaming reviews.
*1. Illegal: The fact someone got paid for this is a sin against man.
*2. Horrible: I can’t believe this was approved.
*3. Painful: A good idea gone very wrong.
*4. Bad: Some things work but most don’t.
*5. Passable: Must be a huge fan of the series to even read the box, otherwise forget it.
*6. Decent: Game doesn’t suck, but sure as hell doesn’t rock. Rent it at your own risk.
*7. Good: If you really like the genre and/or characters, give a go. This is the line between buying and renting.
*8. Very Good: Strong title and one of the best in its class.
*9. Superb: Not quite a home run, but a game that you need to buy. A killer app indeed.
*10. Outstanding: The pinnacle of perfection. A rare title indeed.
