The Long Beach Bike Path in Los Angeles County meanders about along the sand from Shoreline Village in downtown Long Beach, California to Bayshore Avenue in Belmont Shore. The path is shared with walkers, joggers, and skaters, so its attraction is more for scenery than for travel speed. Entry points / parking *Plenty of parking (some free) and restrooms at the Shoreline end. *Metered parking at Belmont Pier and in several lots from there to the end of the path. *Beach restrooms along the way. *'Alfredo's' rents bikes, skates, and surreys at the East end of the Shoreline parking lots. An addition was made at the Belmont Pier that makes it unnecessary to navigate around the Belmont Plaza Pool. The path has bike lanes painted for each direction and has a lane painted for foot traffic. Though not all foot passengers use it, a friendly bell chime will clear the way for some good road biking. The path connects to the LA River Trail for a longer road biking excursion. <!-- Maintenance Current Condition Future plans
