Lone Wolf 3

Lone Wolf 3: The Search For ΙΧΘΥΣ (also known as LW3) is a 3D first-person shooter for PC. Lone Wolf 3 was first mentioned in the popular German computer magazine PC-Welt , the German edition of the PC World magazine. It is the successor to the 2D action game Lone Wolf 2 and freeware.
History
Lone Wolf 3 began development in 2004 and was released in 2009. It uses the author's own 3D engine, VGFXOpenGL, and FMOD for music playback and 3D sound effects.. It was written in C++ with and is hardware accelerated via OpenGL. VGFXOpenGL's terrain generation system is an implementation of the algorithm described in the paper “Real-Time Generation of Continuous Levels of Detail for Height Fields”. Xerces to process XML data; and FMOD for music playback and 3D sound effects.
Lone Wolf 3 contains many Christian symbols and elements in the interface graphics, 3D objects and game plot. Most of the game music with vocals was produced by the popular German music producer DaveDJ and the Dance-pop music group Infernosounds.
