LondonSays is an independent, cross-party think tank focused on London and founded in 2007.
Focussed on the issues which fall under the remit of the Mayor of London, LondonSays produces pragmatic policy documents untied to either political dogma or electoral concerns.
LondonSays' Patrons include Cllr Merrick Cockell (Conservative), Jean Lambert MEP (Green), Martin Linton MP (Labour), and Simon Hughes MP (Liberal Democrat). The think tank has also received the backing of the four main candidates for Mayor of London in the 2008 race.
LondonSays launched its first publication, Getting out the Vote, in March 2008 which was focussed on increasing political involvement. Following the launch it also launched the iWant campaign, allowing Londoners to have a say on the policies which they would like to see adopted by the new Mayor.
LondonSays' next publication will be a mini-manifesto for London, written by a panel of experts and presented to the Mayoral candidates before the vote on May 1st 2008.
