Cornish Democrats

The Cornish Democrats (Cornish: Gweriniethoryon Kernow) is a right-of-centre political party in the United Kingdom. The main objective of the Cornish Democrats is to retain traditional conservatives values in Cornwall. The Cornish Democrats are committed to increasing the role that Cornwall plays in the United Kingdom, believing that the heritage and values of Cornwall are better refelected by themselves, than the London-based, Conservatives, Labour and Liberal Democrats. The Cornish Democrats differ from other Cornish parties, Mebyon Kernow and the Cornish Nationalist Party, in the way that they do not emphasise a move towards Cornish Nationalism as a main policy, it remains a side policy that is effected by the main, more important views.
The Cornish Democrats have 0 elected representatives in Cornwall or the United Kingdom. The party also has elected no MPs to the UK Parliament, but for the first time has candidates running for next election in May 2010.
History
The Cornish Democrats was founded by its current Leader, Jonathan Rogers, in 2010. The main objectives of the Cornish Democrats is:

#The withdrawal of Britain from the European Union
Elections
The Cornish Democrats will be seeking election in the St Ives constituency at the United Kingdom general election 2010. They will also seek election at future general and European elections.
