Lockdown Project

Lockdown Project or LDP is an English alternative hip hop group, consisting of Ollie Maides (vocals), James Newton (guitar), Lawrence Hudson (bass guitar) and Ben Maides (drums). Music Lockdown Project fuse "old school" hip hop with electronica and ambient beats to create a laid-back sound. They released two albums with Grönland Records, Everybody In The Morning on 1 February 2003 and the eponymous LockDown Project on 5 April 2004; the singles "24/7" and "Down In One" were released on 13 October 2003 and 28 June 2004. Performances included the Montreux Jazz Festival in July 2003.<ref name=MJF/> |
