Lloyd Reeb

Lloyd Reeb (born 1961) is a public speaker, author, real-estate developer, and Primary Spokesperson for the Halftime Institute.
Reeb was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on September 18, 1961. He is the third of four brothers and lived in Philadelphia until he attended McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He married his childhood sweetheart and started Reeb Developments Inc. His company built apartment complexes, retirement communities, and a neighborhoods outside Ottawa.
Lloyd made a mid-life transition from focusing on success to pursue significance in his second half of life. For a season he was the Director of Communication for Send International, a Christian missionary group, and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. In the mid-1990s he became an associate pastor at Mecklenburg Community Church and helped design and build a new building for the church.
After a few years of administrative work at Mecklenburg Community Church, Reeb became the director of Halftime Institute., a global non-profit organization that helps successful business and professional leaders with mid-life renewal. He started writing books<ref name="halftimeinstitute" /> about halftime, speaking in several on the topic around the world and leading a movement which is now considered to be 'the university for your second half."
