Liz West

Liz West is a television presenter and 2010 Toronto City Council candidate. She was an entertainment specialist on Citytv in Toronto, Canada. She appeared on CityNews at 6, CityNews Tonight (weekdays), CP24, and as an entertainment reporter on . Following the sale of CP24 and StarTV to CTV, West and a number of staffers who worked both at Citytv and at CTV, but later left CTV. In December 2008, Rogers (the new owners of Citytv) eliminated the entire CityNews entertainment unit, including West. She is sometimes seen on CP24 as the CP24 festival reporter. Education West is a graduate of the Communications of Centennial College. 2010 Toronto City Council Candidacy In August 2010, West announced her candidacy to become the Ward 30 (Toronto-Danforth) City Councillor. |
