Live in Buenos Aires: The Dangerous Tour
|
Live In Buenos Aires: The Dangerous Tour is a live concert by American recording artist Michael Jackson leaked on the internet after the sudden death of the artist caused by a cardiac arrest in 2009. The concert was held at the River Plate Stadium as part of his Dangerous World Tour. The footage was supposed to be used in a documentary about his stay in Buenos Aires, but the project was later scrapped due to him being unsatisfied with his performance. First leaked as a snippet of Jackson doing the moonwalk to the song "Billie Jean" in early 2010. In 2011, the tape was put up for auction in Fame Bureau, but it did not get as many bids as expected due to the fact it was not available for commercial use. The full concert was fully leaked in 2013. The concert took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 12, 1993. There are two other shows that took place there (October 8 & 10) but only snippets of some of Jackson's songs are available. Other available professionally shot recordings of the tour include the shows in Bremen, Oslo, Copenhagen and Bucharest, which was televised on HBO in 1992 and later officially released in DVD format in 2005. (Live In Bucharest: The Dangerous Tour). So far, the Buenos Aires concert recording is the only professionally shot concert footage that has been fully released of the 1993 leg of the tour. The available recording of the November 7, 1993 show in Mexico City contains 4 songs, Jam, Smooth Criminal, Black or White and Heal the World in pro-shot. :::
