Little G. Weevil

Little G Weevil (born in 1977) is a Southern blues and boogie entertainer based out of Atlanta, GA, USA. He is a guitarist, drummer, singer and songwriter.
Musical career
Little G Weevil started out as a drummer and began playing the guitar at the age of 17. He was introduced and captivated by the Blues scene through listening to musicians such as John Lee Hooker, Lightnin' Hopkins, R. L. Burnside, Robert Belfour, Jessie Mae Hemphill, Albert Collins, B.B. King and Chuck Berry.
Although he has never had formal guitar or vocal lessons he now sings and plays the blues worldwide.
He has developed a Southern blues style that he calls Apple Picker Music.
He established his own band in 1998. After years of touring mostly European countries he released his first single (Chump Change) in 2001 and his first album (One) with his band Pure Blues in 2004 under the EU based label D&B.
In the same year he relocated to Memphis, TN where he received a long-term contract on Beale Street. He has performed on numerous occasions in Beale Street's famous Blues clubs and has made his debut tours in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Arkansas.
His first solo recordings were also produced in Memphis in 2005.
Currently, Little G is living in Dallas, GA only a few miles away from the southern capital Atlanta.
Nickname
He got the nickname 'Weevil' at a young age for being "too passionate" about the Blues.
Personal life
He is married and a father of two.
