List of people with dual American and German citizenship

People with dual citizenship of the United States and Germany. While the United States does not have laws concerning multiple citizenship, in United Germany it is not allowed, except under specific circumstances.
* Sandra Bullock (1964-), actress — Until the age of eighteen, Bullock held American/German dual citizenship. In 2009, she reapplied for German citizenship.
* Kirsten Dunst (1982-), actress — She gained German citizenship in 2011 and now holds dual citizenship of Germany and the United States.
*Shawn Bradley (1972-), basketball player born in Germany to American parents
*Nicolas Berggruen (1961-) philanthropist and investor, founder and president of Berggruen Holdings, a private investment company and the think tank Berggruen Institute
*Arben Kane (1977-) Kosovo-born software developer, entrepreneur, and business executive
