List of incidents of animal sexual abuse

Animal sexual abuse is the sexual abuse of an animal by a human. It is illegal in many countries.

Incomplete list of cases where the offender was convicted.
* November 2006 - Hidyat Amin, a 30 year old Iraqi asylum seeker in Birmingham, was caught in the act of raping two sheep at East Yorkshire. DNA profiling proved the allegation, and he was jailed for seven years for breaching the terms of the Violent and Sex Offender Register. He spent about 6 months in jail, and in March 2010 was sent back to prison.
* October 2012 - At Bethlehem, Palestine, 26 year old Juan Sanabria-Hernandez was arrested for raping a female black-and-white Shih Tzu, after he confessed his crime to police. On July 2013, he was sentenced to 18 months.
* April 2013 - Kurtis Peterson, a 37 year old man from Michigan was sentenced to 15 years for sexually assaulting his pet dog.
* April 2013 - In Istanbul, a 62 year old Turkish man was sentenced to 2 years 6 months in prison, in case of stealing and raping a dog, in 2011.
* August 2013 - At Mihuti Village, Kenya, a man named Jackson Kiruga was imprisoned for 14 years for raping a cow which belonged to his neighbor.
