List of Fred characters

This is a list of characters from the internet series, "Fred". All of the characters are voiced off-screen by Lucas Cruikshank, Fred Figglehorn is the only character to appear on-screen, except the first episode, where Cruikshank played Miss Figglehorn and in "Fred on Christmas" where Cruikshank played Santa. Except for the dream sequence in "", all other characters are mentioned or appear off-screen in seasons 1 to 3. In Season 4, guest characters have appeared on-screen.
Main characters
*Fred Figglehorn is a 6-year-old boy, who is said to have anger problems. Fred has a fast, high “chipmunk” voice and has a tendency to yell or scream. In Season 4, Fred's voice gets deeper. Fred is best described as a mentally unstable, cynical, hyperactive and verbally abrasive young child. Fred noticeably started the series with a more calm and less-hyperactive voice and personality, but eventually grew into what he is today. Fred is known for overreacting and getting revenge on anyone who antagonizes him, but sometimes his revenge plans fail. Fred takes medication which helps him function like a normal human being, however it is sometimes evident that he hasn’t been taking it. Fred loves singing and sings at least one song in every episode. Fred begins most of the videos on his channel until “Christmas Cash” by yelling, “Hey, it’s FREEEDD!!!”. Fred is the only character to appear in every video. In Season 4, Fred's voice gets a little deeper, but in Fred Goes Grocery Shopping Featuring the Annoying Orange, his voice is somewhat higher than in the other Season 4 episodes.
*Miss Figglehorn is Fred's alcoholic mother. Fred’s mother worked at a fast-food restaurant at the start of the series, but was fired which led her to resort to prostitution for money. Fred’s mother has never revealed to Fred how she earns money and simply tells him that she “works the corners”. Fred’s mother is sometimes strict with Fred and it has been hinted that she has improperly abused him when he disobeys. Fred’s mother often leaves Fred home alone while she goes to a bar or party. Fred's mother has only appeared on-screen once ("Fred on Halloween") where she is played by Lucas, but in "Fred Gets a Haircut", you can see her arm very briefly when she drops off Fred at the barber shop. In “Fred: The Movie”, she will be played by Siobhan Fallon Hogan.She looks just like Fred but with a pillow in her shirt.
*Judy is the object of Fred's infatuation and also one of the most popular kindergartners. Judy is aware of Fred’s obsession with her and dislikes him for it. Judy often embarrasses Fred and makes him jealous because she is in a relationship with Kevin. Judy has a ZipIt like Fred and usually receives messages from him but she either sends him a mean message or does not reply at all. In “Fred: The Movie”, she will be played by Pixie Lott.
*Kevin is Fred's arch-enemy. Kevin is a bully who hates Fred and often picks on him. Kevin has been described by Fred as “fat” many times and Fred often uses this as a slur against him. Kevin has a deep voice and is Judy’s boyfriend, which one of the reasons why Fred hates him. Kevin used to have a YouTube channel named “KevinHatesFred” but this channel is now closed. Kevin has been bitten by the Cat with Rabies and given rabies twice (“Fred Gets Bullied” and “Fred on April Fool’s Day”) and has miraculously survived both times. In “Fred: The Movie”, he will be played by Jake Weary.
Recurring characters
*The Neighborhood Squirrels are two Pomeranians that Fred mistakes for squirrels and often refers to them as “squrriel things”. The squirrels were stray animals at the beginning of the series, but Fred seems to have adopted them by the events of “Fred Works Out”.
*The Cat with Rabies is a stray cat that Fred befriends after she helps him defeat Kevin in a fight. The Cat with Rabies is feared by all the kids in Fred’s neighborhood, excluding Fred, because of her rabies. The Cat with Rabies has given Kevin rabies twice and occasionally stays in Fred’s house.
*The Cockatiel is a bird that Fred owns. The Cockatiel has bitten Fred on several occasions and appears to be quite intelligent as because she replies with a smart response when Fred talks to her. The Cockatiel speaks with a soft, calm and wise voice (It is unknown, however, if Fred understands her because her mouth doesn’t move when she speaks).
*Fred’s Grandma is Fred’s strict grandmother and Miss Figglehorn’s mother. Fred’s grandmother looked after Fred when his mother went missing and dislikes it when Fred disobeys her. She also dislikes Fred’s mother's alcoholism and has sent her to rehab several times. Fred’s grandmother has also forced Fred to see a therapist.
*Sparky is a dog who lives at the local park and is friends with Fred. Sparky is camera-shy and usually walks away when Fred points the camera at him. Sparky appeared in the pre-series videos and then disappeared completely until the season 3 episode, “Fred Goes on a Date With Judy” where Fred adopts him (similar to how he adopted the Neighborhood Squirrels).
Minor characters
*Fred's dad (mentioned) is Fred's father who Fred has never met because is on death-row at the State Penitentiary and he left while Fred’s mother was pregnant. Fred’s mother has described Fred’s father in several episodes saying that he is a rock star (“Fred on Father’s Day”) and is very muscular (“Fred Works Out”). Fred mentioned in YouTube Live that his father may be in Alcatraz. In Fred: The Movie, he is played by John Cena.
*Bertha is a popular second grader who is Fred’s only non-animal friend. Despite being friends with Fred, Bertha is known for playing rude pranks on him. Bertha’s personality is quite mysterious because Fred has described her as nice in “Fred Meets Bertha” just before she tricks him into thinking that there is a ghost in his house. In “Fred: The Movie”, she is played by Jennette McCurdy.
*The Crazy Guy (mentioned) is an unknown person who is apparently the original owner of Fred’s YouTube channel and is trying to get revenge on Fred for “stealing” the channel from him (although it is never actually mentioned how Fred acquired his channel, except that he was “bugging YouTube”). The Crazy Guy has never appeared, but sends Fred several threatening e-mails and letters telling him that he knows where Fred lives and will hurt him, which scares Fred. Some fans speculate that The Crazy Guy might be Lucas Cruikshank because he appeared in “One Million Subscribers” thanking everyone for getting the channel to 1,000,000 subscribers and Fred had no clue who he was. However, The Crazy Guy may also be someone that Fred knows and despises like Kevin (which may explain Kevin’s hatred for Fred) since he knows Fred’s address. The Crazy Guy also might be Kevin. The Crazy Guy is only mentioned in season 1.
*The Creepy Heads are two severed heads who appear randomly during season 3 and unintentionally scare Fred. They are first used as an April Fool’s prank that Fred’s mother had played on her son in “Fred on April Fool’s Day”, but then appear to have their own personailties in later episodes. One of the heads is kind and in love with Fred and the other appears to be quite aggressive.
*Fred's Classmates are frequently mentioned throughout the series. Fred’s classmates seem to dislike him like Kevin and Judy (who are also in his class). Fred’s classmates make fun of Fred when he calls them to promote his presidental campaign in “Fred Runs for President!” and refuse to come to his party in “Fred Throws a Party”.
*Fred's Mom's friend is a drunken lowlife who is similar and is friends with Fred’s mother. She babysits Fred in “Fred Gets Babysat” and gives Fred money for his fundraiser in “Fred Goes Fundraising”. Fred and his mother’s friend are enemies in “Fred Gets Babysat”, but seem to get along in “Fred Goes Fundraising”, possibly because she lives with them during this episode.
*Crazy Fred is Fred's alter ego. Claims he is "the real Fred."
*Fred's Mom's Boyfriends (mentioned) are several men who Fred’s mom goes out with during the series. Fred dislikes some of the boyfriends she has like the one in “Fred Gets Bullied” who crowds his room with boxes, but Fred also likes some of them like the one in “Fred Stays in a Fancy Hotel Room” who gives Fred and his mother access to a free hotel room.
*Kevin's Mom is Kevin’s mother who has been mentioned several times during the series. In “Fred Sneaks into Judy’s Party”, Fred said that Kevin’s mother looks like an ape. In “Fred on April Fool’s Day”, Fred revealed that Kevin’s mother had gotten mad at his mother when the Cat with Rabies bit Kevin during “Fred Gets Bullied” and then becomes worried when he makes the cat bite Kevin and give him rabies again she will be in "Fred: The Movie".
*Chester Fred says he's a really nice guy but his mom says to stay away from him. He hangs around the children's playground. He is mentioned and speaks in "Fred Goes Fundraising" Fred runs away from him because Chester wants him to go to his house.

*Patty (mentioned) is Fred’s aunt who looks after him during “Fred on Christmas”. Even though Fred says she is nice, Patty doesn't buy any presents for Fred on Christmas and only gives some to Fred’s cousins.
*Fred’s cousins (mentioned) are the sons/daughters of Fred’s aunt Patty. Fred’s cousins are all given presents in “Fred on Christmas” while Fred gets none. One of Fred’s cousins names is “Spider-Monkey”.
*Santa is the man who delivers presents to children on Christmas. Santa is portrayed as a skinny man (because he took Jenny Craig) who is quite mean to Fred in “Fred on Christmas” he is the only character to appear on screen alongside Fred, but makes it up to him by giving him a karaoke machine. Santa also appears in the music videos for “Christmas Cash” and “Christmas is Creepy”. In "Fred on Christmas" he is portrayed by Lucas Cruikshank. In "Christmas Cash" he is portrayed by Michael Q. Schmidt.
Season 1
*Miss Coosman (mentioned) is Fred’s teacher who gives him a detention for continuously being truant in “Fred Gets Detention”.
*Dentist (mentioned) is mentioned in “Fred Goes to the Dentist” where Fred has an appointment with him and he ends up giving Fred an operation because Fred never brushes his teeth.
Season 2
*Miss Amy (mentioned) is the drama teacher at Fred’s school who gives Fred the role of a tree for the play, “Grease” in “Fred Auditions for a Play”. Miss Amy is the producer of the play and according to Fred is “the only girl on this planet who is more attractive than Judy”.
*Cleopatra (mentioned) is a member of Fred’s class who defeated Fred and Kevin in the Election for Kindergarten President in “Fred on Election Day” because she was nicer than Fred and Kevin who had both started a dirty campaign against each other.
Season 3
*Doctor (mentioned) gives Fred his first physical in “Fred Goes to the Doctor” which ends up shocking Fred because of the disturbing events which took place during it.
*Bible School Kids (mentioned) are the students that attend the same Bible School as Fred in “Fred Gets Dissed at Bible School” and make fun of him on his first day, repeatedly calling him “Year One”.
*The Dance Instructor is the coach of the Disco Kids Dance Squad who comes to Fred’s house during “Fred Tries Dancing” and tells him that he wasn’t accepted into the squad.
*The Therapist appears in “Fred Sees a Therapist” when Fred’s grandmother forces Fred to see and have a therapist session with her. Fred hates the therapist and kicks her out of his house when she says that he has problems.
*The Vocal Teacher is the vocal coach of Heidi Montag who comes to Fred’s house during “Fred Has a Vocal Lesson” to give him a vocal lesson which was the prize to a competition that Fred had cheated on.
*Miss Dunnigan is an old lady who lives in Fred’s neighborhood and gave Fred money for his fund-raiser in “Fred Goes Fundraising”, however Fred took more money from her then he was supposed to and ran off.
*Chester is a paedophile who lives in Fred’s neighborhood and always hangs around the children’s playgrounds. Fred asked Chester to help him fundraise in “Fred Goes Fundraising”, but Chester tried to get Fred to come into his house and Fred ran off. Chester may be the same paedophile who appeared in “Fred on Halloween 2”.
*Eddie, Taylor and Tina are three kids who respond to Fred’s flyers and ask for advice in “Fred Gives Advice”. Eddie asks Fred on how to get friends because he is unpopular, to which Fred tells him to make everyone in his class hate him more. Taylor asks Fred on how to get over the death of his/her cat, Biscuit-Face, to which Fred tells her that cats don’t like humans so he/she shouldn’t be sad (after insulting Biscuit-Face’s name), and Tina asks Fred what she should do because she is bullied by a girl named Wanda for being fat, even though Wanda is fatter than her. Fred tells Tina to eat more food so she can become “super-fat” and beat up Wanda.
*The Creepy Doll is a doll that looks exactly like Fred and appears on his doorstep in “Fred Finds a Creepy Doll” where it proceeds to haunt him. The doll claims that part of Fred’s soul in inside him, but this is uncertain. Fred thinks that the doll is a voodoo doll controlled by Kevin, but this is also never confirmed. The doll surprisingly threatens Fred and tries to take his family’s money even though they supposedly share a soul. Based on the doll’s intentions and the way it acts, it is possible that it really is controlled by Kevin, but it also might have a mind of its own. At the end of the episode, the doll is attacked and “finished” by Sparky, but it appears to have survived.
*The Girl With Acne (mentioned) is an unpopular girl at Fred's school who offers to dance with him in "Fred Goes to a School Dance".
Season 4
*The Strange Lady a.k.a. Random Hotel Guest is a lady who suddenly appears in Fred’s hotel room during “Fred Stays in a Fancy Hotel Room” and claims that it’s actually her room.
*Waiting Room Guy is a man who sits in the hairdresser waiting room with Fred in “Fred Gets a Haircut” and tries to calm him down when he worries about his upcoming haircut. The Waiting Room Guy’s name is revealed to also be “Fred” when he ends up taking Fred’s appointment.
*Haircut Guy is a man that Fred gives a haircut to while pretending to be a hairdresser in “Fred Gets a Haircut”. Fred gives the man a really bad haircut which he surprisingly likes, which astounds the other hairdressers.
*Officer Scott Hanis is a policeman who refuses to give Fred any confidential information concerning the crimes in Fred’s town in “Fred Goes Reporting”. He is an actual police officer in real life.
*Alien Abductee is a young boy who claims to have been abducted and probed by aliens in “Fred Goes Reporting”.
*Library Renter is a girl who borrows books from the local library in “Fred Goes Reporting”, but Fred thinks that she stole the books and attempts to take them from her.
*Jaywalker is a girl whom Fred spots running across the road in “Fred Goes Reporting” and he tries to force her to “face the consequences”.
*The Annoying Orange appears in "Fred Goes Grocery Shopping" and annoys Fred with a joke. The Annoying Orange has his own channel.
*Shopper is an old lady who tells Fred off in "Fred Goes Grocery Shopping" after he eats ketchup out of a bottle and puts the bottle back on the shelf.
*Checkout Lady is a lady who scans Fred's shopping in "Fred Goes Grocery Shopping" and reveals he owes the shop $2,938.
*Matt is the man in charge of the tattoo shop in "Fred Works At A Tattoo Shop" and goes out, which means Fred can go crazy because his job is sweeping up.
*Tattoo Customer is a man who comes to the shop in "Fred Works At A Tattoo Shop" who gets a tattoo after Matt (see above) goes out and leaves Fred behind. The tattoo comes from Fred. He ends crying along with Fred when they tell each other they have no dad.
