List of baseball entrance music

In baseball, some players choose to have their appearance in a game be punctuated by a musical selection. The most common forms are for a relief pitcher charging out of the bullpen or for a hitter approaching the batter's box for an at bat.

Player music selection generally relates to a player's ethnic heritage, birthplace, name, or a characteristic of them as a player. Sometimes, it is just a song the player or the audio staff enjoys.
All teams listed are current or for retired players the team with which they are best known.

So I think this list is really awesome. If this is a list of alltime songs, then you need to add a song to Jim Thome's. For most of his Philadelphia career, he came out to the Star Wars theme, the main theme. But this is a great list, w/many current songs. Also, just thought about this. For some reason, for the first qtr. of this season, Jimmy Rollins came out to the Geico song (From the geico commercials. Where the caveman is in the airport).

Abby @ 42: When we attended the final 2010 Cards game yesterday, Schumaker's walk-up song was "Beautiful People" by Marilyn Manson.

Also FWIW, when we attended a COL vs SF game over the Summer, Giants Closer, Brian Wilson came into the game w/"Jump Around" by House of Pain blaring on the PA.

One of the running jokes on WFAN is that the tunnrig point of the game is when the losing pitcher (e.g., one with a consistent, bad track record) steps on the mound and throws out the first pitch. The other tunnrig point joke is when such-and-such a player is inserted into the batting lineup. But "clutch double play" is even funnier than that. Well, maybe NOT that funny, since it cost us another game.Although it would be nice to see the Yankees make a credible run to the finish, I just don't see it happening. What good is it if they're good enough to MAKE the playoffs, but not good enough to WIN the playoffs? I don't care to see a repeat of last year in that sense. They worked like crazy and then packed it up in the first round again.
