Traditionally a link building role has been considered in a negative way. This has largely been due to many link spamming techniques such as article spinning, blog networks, blog comment and social bookmark spam. In-fact the role of a creative link builder is incredibly demanding with a diverse set of skills required to fulfill the role. A true link builder will have to be code savvy, creative, excellent at research, a social networker and have superior communication and persuasion skills.
