In April 2024, the Mail & Guardian reported that English cricketer Dawid Malan had become an ambassador for Linebet.
In August 2024, Linebet became the official sports betting partner of AS Monaco in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and North Africa.
In September 2024, former French professional footballer Djibril Cisse became the new partner of Linebet.
License and legality
The fundamental authorization to carry out activities in the field of sports betting via the Web, offering types of assistance in the field of betting is sub-license No.8048/JAZ2016-053. The license was issued by the Curaçao Betting Commission. The fundamental permit was issued for the sake of the seaside organization Antillephone N.V., which in the same way transferred the corresponding sub-permit to the Cypriot organization Talkeetna Ltd.
This permit allows the betting company to operate worldwide with certain restrictions.
