Fast Web Media

Fast Web Media Limited is a UK private limited company wholly owned by Norwegian company Total Sports Online AS.

A full service digital agency based in Manchester, England with a presence in Edinburgh and London, Fast Web Media employs 30 full time staff and counts Coors Brewers, Sportech plc, Bravissimo and Nationwide amongst its clients.

The Fast element of the company name derives from a takeover in 1998 by Norwegian search company [http://en. .org/wiki/Fast_Search_%26_Transfer_ASA Fast Search & Transfer ASA]. Prior to this takeover the company was called Hercules Communications Ltd.

A subsequent spin out of Fast Web Media in 2003 saw the formation of Total Sports Online ASA, a holding company of which Fast Search & Transfer ASA retained the majority shareholding. This majority shareholding came under ownership of Microsoft Corp following their purchase of Fast Search & Transfer ASA in April 2008. Total Sports Online AS is headed up by Michael Flynn (who is also CEO of Fast Web Media), and has a board which includes Des Kelly, presenter of BBC's Inside Sport and Daily Mail Sports writer and Roger Moody, former BBC sports producer and Sports producer within SKYsports founding management.

On November 5th 2008 Fast Web Media sold its popular English football website www.4thegame.com to Sportech plc, a deal which included a contract to continue managing the website.
