Lindsey Haley (1959) is a Chicana Irish American poet and playwright. Biography Lindsey Haley was born March 12, 1959 in El Paso, Texas. In 1968, her family moved to Venice, California. Haley has read poetry and lead discussions at Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center in Venice, California . Notable works * Haley has a chapter of poems in the book titled, Urban Latino Cultures: La Vida Latina en L.A. edited by Gustavo Leclerc, Raul Villa and Michael J. Dear by SAGE publications, 1999. *Since 2013, Haley has co-produced Chicanas, Cholas, y Chisme at Josefina Lopez's CASA 0101 Theater in Boyle Heights. * Mi Casa Es Su Casa is a touring production using selected plays from Chicanas, Cholas y Chisme staged at the Infringe Festival in New Orleans and University of California Santa Cruz. * In 2017, Haley's short play, El Jardin was presented at Los Angeles Theatre Center (LATC) Encuentro De Las Americas Festival.
