Lilly Brogi

Lilly Brogi is an Italian artist and poet. She was born in Livorno, Italy, in 1942. She lives and works in Florence.
Early life
Brogi learned to paint from Pilade Giorgetti, Carlo Guarnieri and Voltolino Fontani.
Career
In 1990, she moved to Florence, where she began attending the events of "Camerata dei Poeti". She has been a member of associations such as: "Giovanni March"in 1999 in Livorno, ANLA Toscana in 2002, the "Antica Compagnia del Paiolo" in 2003, and the "Centro culturale Fuligno" in Florence in 2003.
In 1999, she founded the cultural association "la Pergola Arte di Firenze". In 2007, she inaugurated the International Literary Prize "Lilly Brogi La Pergola Arte" of Florence.
In 2017 she has been protagonist of the cultural event "l'Etrusca fra i colori di Tuscia" in the Auditorium Giovanni Spadolini in the Palazzo del Pegaso seats of Consiglio regionale della Toscana speakers of the show Anna Balsamo, Ornella Fiorentini, Carmelina Rotundo, Daniele Menicucci.
The president Eugenio Giani was present during the afternoon.
Author
In 2005, her book of short stories Toscana ... Cave Canem fra leggenda e realtà was published by Bastogi Editrice Italiana. In 2007, she published a book of poems, Un soffio di vita. In 2009, she published another poetry book, Entro l'arco del mio giorno with works owned by Bastogi Editrice Italiana. In 2010, she published a third poetry book, Amoreggiandone.
In 2007 with the gallery M'Arte of Pistoia, she organized '"Asta di Benificienza d'Arte Contemporanea" and 2008 again with M'Arte Pistoia in collaboration with the Art gallery La Pergola Arte in Florence, she organized an 'auction" of Contemporary Masters.
In 2010, she promoted with La Pergola Arte e Peter Michael Musone, the poetic encounter with the poets Duccia Camiciotti and Fausto Sbaffoni "From Florence to the Stars" at the "Consiglio regionale della Toscana" Palazzo Panciatichi Via Cavour Florence. In 2011, she promoted the anthology One Hundred Voices to the Sky and presented at the "Consiglio regionale della Toscana".
In 2012, she published the storybook Agresti Fiori per la Repubblica italiana and promoted and presented the poet Giorgina Busca Gernetti at the Caffè Giubbe Rosse "Le Giubbe Rosse" in Florence along with Anna Maria Giglio, Enrico Nistri, and Giancarlo Bianchi.
In 2015 with Peter Michael Musone she organized the literary meeting "Dante ritorna a casa" at Caffè Giubbe Rosse, with Franco Costantini actor's recital accompanied on guitar by Raimondo Raimondi and the following poets: Anna Balsamo, Ornella Fiorentini, Alfredo Vernacotola, Menotti Galeotti and Giancarlo Bianchi. In 2012, she received the Award Fiorino d'Oro for unpublished poetry in XXX Prize Fiorino d'oro in Florence organized by the Cultural Centre Europe-Florence, "Mario Conti".

* In the 2000 personal exhibition at the International Lyceum Club of Florence.
* In the 2000 participation in the "Premio Rotonda" titled to "Mario Borgiotti" and in the following years in 2002 and 2007.
* In the 2002 won the International Francesco Ferrucci Gavinana Pistoia.
* In the 2002 Fiorino d'oro and the diploma for the best artist at the collective association F. Ferrucci Panteraie in Montecatini Terme.
* In the 2003 entry to the competition Prize Calindri in Certaldo.
* The artist was awarded the Special Association ANLA Tuscany "for its passionate and intelligent action of cultural operator, is committed to promoting the spread in every area of beauty". in the 2003:
