Daniele Menicucci writer, painter and art critic active in Toscana.
Biography
Daniele Menicucci in the 1990s see him as a protagonist of Montecatini Terme cultural life. He's the president of the jury of the literary contest "La Diligenza" and the national extemporaneous painting prize of Gavinana organized by the cultural association "Francesco Ferrucci", presided by Dino Mucci and National Contest Città di Montecatini Terme. In 1996, 1997 and 2003, he publishes three novels “Un uomo in svendita”, “Voglia di perdere” e “Il vizio di vivere” with t La Loggia de' Lanzi Editore, Florence. For ten years, starting in 1996, he takes care of the painter Biagino Balboni's exhibitions in the foyer of the Verdi Theatre in Montecatini Terme . ln 1997 he organizes the exhibitions for the artist Lilly Brogi and for the painter Lilly Brogi and Biagino Balboni at the historical cafè "La Cascina" in Montecatini Terme. He continuously colloborates with the galleries "La casa del Pittore dello Scultore e del Poeta" and "La Galleria Flori" in Montecatini Terme, and with the gallery "La Pergola Arte" in Florence and the gallery of the Associazione Firenze Arte, presenting its artists and writing the critical presentation for their solo and group exhibitions in many occasions. His activity as an art crìtic draws him near the world of contemporory painting, writing many reviews ond critical notes for the artists that gravitate about the territory of Florence and Pistoia and all over the Italy, and it also enlarges his view towards the Russian pictorial art as he manages the presentations of various artists that settled in the Val di Nievole area. ln 2014 he presents the artist Marcello Meucci from Pistoia at the "Museo d'Arte Contemporaneo Pecci" museum in Prato. He is also part of the juries of several prizes, such as the National Contest "Città di Montecatini Terme" organized by the Cultural Association "Casa del Pittore, dello Scultore e del Poeta" of Montecatini Terme and the one of the "Piccolo Formato" of "La Pergola Arte" in Florence. In 2012, together with Lucia Mongardi, he's the judge of the painting contest "Montecatini, l'acqua e lo bellezza" (Montecatini, the water and the beauty). Since 2012 he takes care of his own art and has begun an international cycle of exhibitions of his pictorial works. He is invited by the state gallery of contemporary art to the exhibition "The Labyrinth" in Magnitogorsk in the Urals, to the Art-Project of the city organized by the painters of the Russian Federation and to the exhibition "lmprovisation" of the State University of pedagogy in Novosibirsk. In 2013, he invited to the regional exhibition organized by the Painter Union of the Russian Federation in Celyanbinsk, in the Urals; in the same year he has o solo exhibit in the Galleria Flori in Montecatini Terme. ln 2014, two of his works are published in the catologue book “Arteè", for the publisher Il Masso delle Fate Edizioni and he takes part in the group exhibition organized by the gallery "La Pergola Arte" of Florence at the historical literary Caffè Giubbe Rosse in Florence.
In the 2017 Solo exhibition at the Consiglio regionale della Toscana entitled "L'emozione del vivere" at the Palazzo del Pegaso in Florence speakers Lilly Brogi, Carmelina Rotundo, Peter Michael Musone.
In 2018 he presented the pictorial retrospective of Franco Goiorani in the gallery Flori of Montecatini Terme.
In 2017 he had a solo exhibition at the Consiglio regionale della Toscana entitled L'emozione del vivere. In 2019 participation in the collective exhibition Cave Canem artisti toscani alla ribalta at the Palazzo Bastogi seats of Consiglio regionale della Toscana in Florence.
