Liberation Entertainment

Liberation Entertainment, Inc. was an independent private. The company was founded in 1997 and was headquartered in Los Angeles, California. The majority of the company's film library was sold to Camelot Entertainment, in between 2010 and 2011.
The music for the company's former ident, was composed, arranged and performed by veteran organist Dave Siebels, who's also responsible for the background music in the opening of Phenomenon: The Lost Archives, and writing the songs in The Return to Treasure Island.
History
The company was co-founded by Irv Holender. He began his career in the television studios of Desilu, before founding Holender Corporation where he secured licensing agreements for Viacom, 20th Century Fox, and the Los Angeles Times. In 1971, he became President and chief executive officer of Ziv International. After the sale of Ziv to Lorimar in 1982, where he remained as President and COO until 1985, he formed INI Entertainment Group Inc. in 1986, for the production and international distribution of television and animated programming until 1997, including GLOW: Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling and The Adventures of Candy Claus, as well as the International Family Classics library of Burbank Films Australia films and Return to Treasure Island (which would be later distributed by Liberation), and Burbank's post-1991 movies alongside Whamo Entertainment.

(1998-) - Responsible for editing and post-production services such as the re-mastered edition of The Adventures of Pinocchio, Phenomenon: The Lost Archives and Leif Ericson: The Boy Who Discovered America, as well as working on television network series, several theatrical features, and numerous commercials, as well as providing service for international production and distribution companies and have edited movies and programs for broadcast in over 70 countries worldwide.

Prior the company's resurrection, almost most of Liberation's children's programming would be released in the United States by GoodTimes Home Video. Exceptions include A Christmas Carol, which was released (alongside post-resurrection releases) by the company itself, and The Adventures of Pinocchio which was released by Warner Home Video.
