Lenwood S. Sharpe (born June 11, 1988) is an American folklorist, humorist, game designer and director/editor of the Lumberwoods virtual museum. Sharpe compiled the most comprehensive catalog on fearsome critters of North American folklore. Career In August 2002, a fourteen-year-old Sharpe founded the creative studio Thrill Land; he later founded Lumberwoods in April 2006. Both Thrill Land and Lumberwoods are still active. In 2022, Sharpe was discussed at length on episode 272 of And That's Why We Drink podcast, and he is also mentioned in the acknowledgements to the folklore compendium Mythical Creatures of Maine: Fantastic Beasts from Legend and Folklore by Christopher Packard.. |
