Lela Ivey

Lela Ivey (born June 26, 1958) is an American actress of film and television.
Life and career
Ivey was born in New York City. She is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (NYC).
She appeared in The Waiting Room at the Mark Taper Forum, for which she was nominated for an Ovation Award, and The Marriage of Bette and Boo at the Los Angeles Theatre Center, and was was nominated for a Drama-Logue Award. At the Ipswitch Theatre Festival in Massachusetts, she appeared in Liberties Taken. On television, she appeared in The Edge of Night for 141 episodes in the early 1980s, 6 episodes of Homefront in 1992 and 3 episodes of 'Party of Five in 1997, among other television and film appearances.
Ivey has served as an adjunct faculty member at Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan and the Theatre Department at Michigan State University.
