Leigh Valentine is an entrepreneur in the beauty industry, author, and Christian ministry leader. She is the CEO of Leigh Valentine Beauty and creator of the Non-Surgical Face-Lift Kit. She is founder of Mothers Supporting Israel, a leader with CUFI (Christians United for Israel) under the leadership of Pastor John Hagee of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas; an active supporter of the traveling Holocaust Museum, and is involved in several children’s charitable outreaches. Valentine has appeared on The 700 Club, Paula White Today, Living the Life, 100 Huntley Street, LeSea's Harvest Show and Trinity Broadcasting Network. Early years Leigh Valentine was born Leigh Ann Middleton in Des Moines, Iowa to Dr. Robert Middleton and Mary Shuman Middleton. Robert Middleton was a surgeon and family physician and Mary was a manager with Stanley Home Products. Mary's position with Stanley Home Products brought about the family's move to St. Louis, Missouri when Leigh was 5 years old. Education Valentine graduated from the private all-girls school Incarnate Word Academy High School in 1973. Valentine went on to graduate from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri in 1978 with a double major in Fashion Merchandising and Business Administration. She later graduated from RHEMA Bible Training Center in Tulsa Oklahoma. while working at Bloomingdale's department store, she was discovered by a talent scout who offered her the opportunity to audition for the role of the new Slim-Fast girl, which she landed, and which launched her also into a modeling and acting career. A member of the Screen Actors Guild (S.A.G.), Valentine starred in national commercials and made numerous television appearances. Valentine became Miss Missouri USA in 1977. Shortly after winning the title, she was involved in a horrific car crash which involved a lengthy recuperation period; the doctors were not certain if she would even walk again. Valentine fully recovered. Business Leigh is the CEO of Leigh Valentine Beauty. After working in the beauty industry for Estee Lauder, Revlon and Lancôme, and, in 1998, she launched her own Health and Beauty Line. Valentine is the creator and formulator of the "Non-Surgical Face Lift Kit". For over ten years, Valentine made hundreds of live appearances on QVC, selling over $250 million of product on QVC and through her infomercials, including one with Kevin Trudeau. Her Non-Surgical Face Lift Kit infomercial is purported to be the longest running infomercial for a beauty product in history. Marriage to Robert Tilton In 1994, Valentine married Evangelist Robert Tilton three months after he divorced his first wife, Marte Tilton. The marriage lasted three years. During the divorce, Valentine asked the court to include the church and all its property as community property in the proceedings.
