Mr. Lee Shing-see is currently the Chairman of the Construction Industry Council. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong, and is an experienced civil engineer. Mr. LEE has over 42 years' experience in engineering and construction. Mr. LEE was the Secretary for Works and Permanent Secretary for Transport & Works from August 1998 to August 2002. Prior to that, he served as a Director of Territory Development of Hong Kong Government from August 1994 to August 1999. Apart from his role in the Construction Industry Council, Mr. LEE is also a member of the Airport Authority Hong Kong, a member of the Development Committee of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, a Director of the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, a member of the Environmental Impact Assessment Appeal Panel, and the Convenor of the Panel on Promoting Testing & Certification of Construction Materials Trade. He is a Fellow of both the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and the Institution of Civil Engineers (UK).
