Rathna Deepal Lasantha Wickramasinghe () commonly known as Lasantha Wickramasinghe (born December 1, 1983) is a Sri Lankan entrepreneur, philanthropist, and CEO of Builtapps Business Soultions. As a successful businessman, he had become one of the richest entrepreneurs of Sri Lanka. He is the ambassador of Payoneer in Sri Lanka Early life Lasantha Wickramasinghe was born on 1 December 1983 in Kandy,Sri lanka.He pursued his primary and secondary education at the Dharmaraja College.He faced Advanced level examination in Mathematics stream but failed both of his attempts.His parents didn't have enough money for his higher education. However he faced the Management Assistant exam and entered the Department of Museums in 2005. Career Lasantha had a interest in computers since he was young.However at that time ICT was not a popular subject in Sri Lanka. While surfing on the internet, he found information about Google AdSense. After reading some blogs on e-money, Lasantha started his own blog with the firm intention of attracting visitors and getting approval for Google AdSense. Meanwhile, Lasantha heard about Fiverr so he followed a graphic designing course and started doing graphics for random customers all over the world. In 2012, he was able to earn more than 1 lakh in Sri Lankan rupees per month. In 2013 he quit his government Job and started his own business.He named it “BuiltApps.” Where he mainly focused on SEO and Google AdSense. He invited some of his fellow friends to join the business and they started creating content for their website targeting Google AdSense. With his passion for online business,now Lasantha had become the ambassador of Payoneer Sri Lanka, Managing Director at Kodex and a Shareholder & the Managing Director at OutSmartHub. He also is the former managment assistant at Department of agriculture Sri Lanka,Former Managment Assistant at Kandy general hospital,former Managment assistant at Department of national museums. Mariage and children In 2010 Lasantha Wikramasinghe married Deepika Priyadarshani with whom he had 3 children.
